Wine-bar character brought into the digital experience

The Client
Porte Noire is a champagne and wine-bar brand built around quality, character and the atmosphere of Europe’s best wine cities.
The brand had a clear point of view. But it needed a website that could carry that feeling online, while still doing the practical work of helping customers explore the brand, book a table and buy from the range.
The website needed to feel right. More importantly, it needed to give people a clear reason and route to act.
The Challenge
Luxury brands have a particular problem online.
If the website feels generic, the brand loses its edge. If it is all style and no clarity, customers do not know what to do next.
Porte Noire needed a site that brought together its champagne, wine-bar experience and booking journey in one coherent place. It had to show the quality and story behind the brand, while making it simple for people to book, browse and buy.

What results did we achieve?
Porte Noire launched with a responsive website built around the full customer experience.
The site gives visitors a clearer view of the brand, the places behind it and the products they can buy. It also creates direct routes into bookings and the online shop, reducing the gap between discovering the brand and taking action.
The finished website did not just make Porte Noire look better online. It gave the business a more credible and practical platform for attracting customers, supporting bookings and selling wine.
Nothing leaves Market Jar unless it earns its place.

The Mechanism
We built the site around the decisions a potential customer needs to make.
Someone may arrive looking for a place to book. Someone else may want to understand the champagne. Another may be ready to buy a bottle. The site needed to serve each of those people without losing the feel of the brand.
We combined the booking journey, product discovery and brand story into one clear experience. The design took its cues from the wine bars and winemakers that shape Porte Noire, then translated that atmosphere into a website that customers could actually use.
The result is a stronger digital front door for the business: one that feels like Porte Noire, while making it easier to turn interest into a booking or purchase.
