The Client
Wooden Soul sells natural-wood furniture to customers across Canada and North America.
The business had strong products and an established reputation. But customers searching for the furniture itself were not finding the business often enough.
That meant Wooden Soul was too reliant on people already knowing the name, rather than being discovered by people actively looking for a solid-pine dresser, wood desk, natural-wood furniture or similar high-value pieces.
The Challenge
The problem was not the product. It was visibility.
The website structure made it harder for potential customers to find the right product range. Important collections were not clearly organised around how people shop, and the business was missing demand from non-brand searches.
Wooden Soul needed a stronger route from a customer searching for a piece of furniture to the relevant collection or product page.
The aim was clear: bring in more people with genuine buying intent and turn organic visibility into sales.

What results did we achieve?
Organic search became Wooden Soul’s main sales channel by the second quarter.
The business reached page one for high-value, non-brand searches including “wood oak dresser”, “solid pine dresser”, “Swedish wood furniture”, “natural oak desk” and more.
That put Wooden Soul in front of people who had not heard of the brand but were already looking for exactly the types of products it sells.
Growth in clicks came primarily from positions three to five in search results. That is where visibility starts becoming meaningful customer demand rather than just an appearance on the page.
The commercial change was simple. Instead of relying mainly on existing brand awareness, Wooden Soul built a more dependable route to new customers looking to buy natural-wood furniture.
Nothing leaves Market Jar unless it earns its place.

The Mechanism
We rebuilt the route between search and product.
First, we reorganised the product structure around the rooms, styles and furniture types customers were actually looking for. That made it easier for people to browse the site and easier for search engines to understand which pages should appear for which customer need.
We then strengthened the key collection and product routes, creating clearer internal paths from discovery to purchase.
The work focused on non-brand demand because that is where new customers come from. Someone searching for Wooden Soul may already know the business. Someone searching for a solid-pine dresser does not.
The result was a better-organised store that could be found by more relevant shoppers and turn that visibility into a growing source of sales.
