The Client

Res Fortes is a boutique winery in Maury, France, producing small-batch wines shaped by the character of the region.

The business had a strong product and a clear story. But the website was not doing enough to help prospective buyers in overseas markets discover the wines, understand the offer or get in touch.

Res Fortes needed a site that could do more than look credible. It needed to bring the right international buyers closer to a conversation.

The Challenge

Res Fortes wanted to grow demand beyond France.

That meant making the website work properly for different markets, languages and buyer types, from wine investors and wholesale buyers to private clients looking for distinctive wines.

The existing visibility was limited. The site needed to give search engines clear signals about which content served which market, while giving international visitors a relevant, straightforward experience when they arrived.

The commercial aim was to turn a good winery website into a dependable source of overseas buyer interest.

Organic traffic from the UK grew by 340%, while traffic from France increased by 280% and traffic from the United States rose by 260%.

Res Fortes achieved page-one visibility for 34 high-intent international search terms. Inbound enquiries from outside France increased from three a month to 27.

The business moved from limited international visibility to a site that reliably brought in prospective buyers from multiple countries.

Nothing leaves Market Jar unless it earns its place.

The Mechanism

We rebuilt the site around how international buyers search, evaluate and enquire.

The new structure made it clear which pages served which countries and languages. Correct hreflang setup helped search engines direct users to the appropriate version of each page, rather than sending every visitor to the same generic content.

We also created country-specific content around the search intent of different buyer groups, including wine investment, wholesale supply and private-client purchasing. Core pages were localised to match the language and commercial context of each market.

The site became easier for buyers to find, easier to understand and easier to act on. Search visibility became a route to more relevant international demand, not just a reporting metric.

Results, not promises

We’ve helped clients all over the world to grow their pipeline, and increase their revenue. Here’s what they had to say about working with Market Jar.

The results in this case study started with one conversation about where the business was stuck.

Every partnership begins with a call about your commercial goals, not a pitch about SEO. We'll look at where your customers come from today, where growth is being lost, and whether we're the right partner to change that. If we don't believe we can make a meaningful difference to your revenue, we'll tell you on the call.
