Respectful Working Policy
We take concerns about inappropriate behaviour seriously and will address them promptly and fairly.
Direct conversations are welcome. Disrespect is not.
Market Jar works closely with clients.
That means honest conversations, differing views, difficult decisions, and direct feedback are all part of a good working relationship. We welcome them.
What we will not accept is behaviour that makes it harder for our team, clients, or partners to do good work.
Everyone working with Market Jar deserves to be treated with basic respect.
What we expect
We expect all communication with our team to remain professional and respectful, whether it happens by email, phone, WhatsApp, video call, in person, or through the client portal.
That includes:
Clear, direct feedback about the work
Disagreement handled constructively
Respect for people’s time and professional boundaries
Reasonable communication outside agreed working hours
A commitment to resolving issues through conversation, rather than hostility
We will hold ourselves to the same standard.
What we will not accept
We have a zero-tolerance approach to:
Abusive, threatening, or aggressive language
Personal insults, harassment, or intimidation
Discrimination of any kind
Bullying or repeated unreasonable behaviour
Behaviour that puts a member of the team, another client, or a partner at risk
This applies to anyone representing a client business, as well as anyone working on behalf of Market Jar.
If there is a problem
Most issues can be resolved quickly through a direct conversation.
If a concern is raised, we will address it clearly and fairly. Where behaviour crosses the line, we may pause work, limit communication to a named point of contact, or end the relationship.
We do not take those decisions lightly. But protecting the people doing the work matters.
A better way to work
The best client relationships are open, straightforward, and built on mutual respect.
We expect high standards from ourselves. We welcome clients who expect the same.
